Lab Operations Lead

Description: What We're Doing The Naval Helicopter Program (NHP) team is driving mission readiness by supporting critical aircraft production and fleet sustainment efforts. At the core of this work is our Mission Production Lab (MPL) and associated Ship Lab, where we integrate, test, and maintain systems that directly support aircraft production hardware and field returns. The Work As a Lab Engineer II, you will support the configuration, operation, and improvement of the Mission Production Lab and Ship Lab. Youu2019ll help ensure the labs are ready to support production hardware and fleet returns, with minimal downtime. Responsibilities include: u2022Assisting with lab setup, configuration, and upgrades. u2022Supporting grooming of production hardware and troubleshooting of field returns. u2022Helping prepare Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and Capital Equipment Requests (CERs). u2022Contributing to asset management, metrology, and documentation control. u2022Identifying and helping resolve lab issues when they occur. u2022Providing technical assistance to the lab test team. u2022Collaborating with technicians, program office, security, system administrators, and test engineers. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret level. u2022 Ability to work on site 4 days a week u2022 Experience with Microsoft Office products u2022 Ability to work overtime or off shift when required Desired Skills: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in an engineering/technical discipline, with 2 or more years of professional experience; or 5 years of professional experience with a related Associates degree; or 8 years of professional experience with High School Degree. u2022 Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and able to communicate to program managers, technicians, engineers and managers. u2022 Capable of working independently with minimal supervision. u2022 Demonstrated proficiencies in Earned Value, Schedule, Cost and Risk Management Techniques. u2022 Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or an associateu2019s degree. u2022 Experience in leading cross-disciplinary teams u2022 Demonstrated ability to lead change and implement process improvements that drive efficiency and affordability. u2022 Experience with purchasing parts and the P2P system u2022 Basic knowledge of electronics and test equipment. u2022 Basic knowledge of IT equipment and IT networking. u2022 Proficiency in the site metrology process. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidateu2019s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
