Maintenance

Overview To provide cleaning services, indoor and outdoor maintenance. Responsibilities + Empty all trash and-transport to dumpster + Sweep all hard floors daily and mop as needed + Wash all glass including door and panes as needed- surfaces daily + Dust and/or wash tables and kitchen area as needed + Clean restroom fixtures, floors and partitions daily + Disinfect restroom floors daily + Replace paper supplies and deodorize the restrooms as needed. + Order janitorial supplies with the permission of the Corps Officers + Strip, wax and buff floors as needed + Vacuum carpets as needed with offices and lounge area daily + Set up rooms for programs as needed + Maintain lights - minor repairs, light bulb change, painting, + Remove snow as needed and salt as needed + Maintain vehicles as needed and instructed by the Corps Officers + Drive to do pick-ups as requested + Help with heavy lifting as needed + Police outside grounds for trash and keep the exterior clean + Maintain the lawn as needed Qualifications + The ability to do heavy lifting + A valid NY State Driver's License and the ability to pass any required testing for the operation of a 12-passenger + Possess working knowledge of tools and building maintenance + Experience with prior building maintenance Job LocationsUS-NY-Hempstead Job ID 2025-14151 Category Maintenance Compensation Min USD $19.00/Hr.
