Employer Name: Columbia University Job Type: Short Term Casual Bargaining Unit: Regular/Temporary: Temporary End Date if Temporary: Hours Per Week: 10 Standard Work Schedule: Building: Salary Range: $22.50- $22.50 The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary The School of Nursing is looking to hire a Columbia University student to assist with federally funded projects focusing on HIV prevention and management. Responsibilities The primary duties will involve: Administering assessments to research participants Assisting in research protocol implementation Providing support with literature reviews & data collection Assisting with manuscript preparation Assisting with community outreach and recruitment (social media & in person) Other duties as assigned This is a temporary position with a flexible work schedule. This is a grant funded position and continued employment is contingent upon the grant . Minimum Qualifications Bachelor?s Degree Excellent communication, organizational, and database entry/management skills Quantitative or qualitative data collection experience Interest in psychology, clinical research, epidemiology, social science research, and/or HIV prevention Willingness to work weekends/ evenings Preferred Qualifications Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
