Inspired by the vision of Creative Director Stuart Vevers and the inclusive and courageous spirit of our hometown, we make beautiful things, crafted to last-for you to be yourself in.Coach is part of the Tapestry portfolio - a global house of brands committed to stretching what's possible.A member of the Tapestry family, we are part of a global house of brands that has unwavering optimism and is committed to being innovative and wholly inclusive.Primary Purpose:The Associate will be a key team member of Global Merchandising team, supporting the continued growth of Coach's Ready to wear business.The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Merchandising to...- Running Weekly Sales Analysis and Reporting - Run existing sales reports on a weekly basis and distribute to team - Build ad hoc sales analysis that will help the team understand quarterly trends - Use reports to analyze business trends/identify future opportunities and share findings with the team on a weekly basis - Generate, analyze, and distribute all weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales reports and participate in weekly business review meetings that include Senior Management- Owning Assortment Edits, Presentation and Market Preparation - Own all aspects of Ready to Wear edit/presentation prep including samples, reporting, Line Opening shoots, line sheet creation, and system set up - Communicate all post presentation assortment updates and ensure systems are updated accordingly - Own buying process in collaboration with Ready to Wear Production team - Manage the sample process (i.e. maintain accurate inventory of samples, track sample lending, and coordinate sample set up for meetings) - Create Product Knowledge sheets and communicate product information to other departments.- Market Research - Research competition (stores, runways, web) in order to better understand the larger Ready to Wear market. - Use findings to contribute to the creation of Ready to Wear line plan and trend reports.- Organization and Team - Create individual development plan consistent with team goals. - Establish and manage relationships with key business unit partners. - Create partnerships with internal cross-functional business units including merchandising peers, design teams, product development, public relations, global merchandise planning, marketing, and creative groups.The accomplished individual will possess...- Team-oriented with ability to multi-task in a rapid growing, ever-changing environment- Able to react quickly with strong sense of urgency- Excellent written and verbal skills- Highly organized, ability to shift priorities, excellent attention to detail- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills- Ability to take initiative and ownershipAn outstanding professional will have...- 3+ years of experience in Ready to Wear merchandising or buying; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered- Strong understanding of Ready to Wear product development lifecycle and cross-functional business partners operations- Experience with Men's Merchandising or Buying Luxury Goods/Accessories a plus- Experience with Global roles that work with international Business Units a plus- Strong analytical skills and comprehensive understanding of
