Accounting Analyst

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Columbus, Ohio. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting functions and expertise in areas such as accounts receivable, auditing, and billing. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial processes and supporting operational efficiency within the automotive industry. Responsibilities: u2022 Conduct thorough research and analysis to investigate refunds and resolve discrepancies. u2022 Perform accurate bank reconciliations to ensure financial records align with transactions. u2022 Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving financial issues. u2022 Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze data effectively. u2022 Work with banking websites to process transactions and maintain accurate records. u2022 Support and enhance accounting functions, including accounts receivable and billing processes. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with auditing standards. u2022 Adapt to enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to streamline accounting workflows. Requirements u2022 Proven experience with accounting software systems and ERP platforms. u2022 Strong knowledge of accounting principles and functions. u2022 Demonstrated expertise in accounts receivable and billing processes. u2022 Familiarity with auditing standards and procedures. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. u2022 Ability to navigate banking websites and process transactions efficiently. u2022 Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. u2022 Strong communication and customer service abilities.
