IT Support Specialist

Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES + Diagnosing and resolving problems in response to customer reported incidents. + Planning and analysis of work processes, researching and reporting trends and patterns of problems. + Developing training materials and performing computing/information system training sessions. + Developing and maintaining problem tracking databases. + Installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware and software. + Performing backup and recovery operations. + Consulting with users to identify needs and requirements. + Conducting feasibility studies and trade-off analyses. + Preparing business cases. + Ensuring the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices. + May be required to support DLAu2019s eProcurement system, a segment of its SAP-based enterprise resource planning system. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS + Six (6) years of progressive experience in the field of Information Processing + Three (3) of which are specialized in Information Processing and involve a range of hardware/software solutions + Two (2) of which are concentrated, hands-on experience in installing, diagnosing problems and training customers in the use of software and hardware + Secret Clearance Must hold one of the following active certifications: + CCNA-Security + CSA+ GICSP + GSEC + Security+ CE + SSCP + CASP CE + CCNP Security + CISA + CISSP (or Associate) + GCED + GCIH Must hold one of the following active computing certifications or related Microsoft computing certification of Server 2008 or above: + AWS Certified Solutions Architect u2013 Associate (AWS CSA Associate) + AWS Certified Solutions Architect u2013 Professional (AWS CSA Professional) + AWS Certified Security u2013 Specialty (AWS CS Specialty) + AWS Certified SysOps Administrator u2013 Associate (AWS CSO Admin Associate) + ICS Cybersecurity (301V) + ISA Certified Control System Technician Level I (ISA CCST Level I) + Microsoft Certified Architect: Directory Services (MCA: DS) + Microsoft Certified Architect: MS SQL Server (MCA: SQL Server) + Microsoft Certified: Azure administrator Associate (MC: Azure AA) + Microsoft Certified Master: Microsoft SQL Server 2008 (MCM: SQL Server 2008) + Microsoft Certified Master: Windows Server 2008 R2: Directory (MCM: Server 2008R2) + Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate Windows Server 2012 (MCSA: WS2012) + Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate Windows Server 2016 (MCSA: WS2016) + Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert Windows Server 2012 (MCSE: WS2012) + Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert Windows Server 2016 (MCSE: WS2016) + Microsoft Certified IT Professional Enterprise Administrator (MCITP EA) + Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate (MS 365 Messaging AA) + Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations 2020 Associate (OCI Foundations 2020) + Okta Certified Administrator Overview We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to support the Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
