This is a full time position on DOT based projects.JOB REQUIREMENTSExperienced in heavy civilhighway projects specific to roads andbridges. Senior Inspection regarding all bridge structures. (FHWA-NBI)AZ experience within AZDOT/MCDOTPerform contract item inspections for ensuring compliance with plans andspecifications on all phases of highway andbridge construction spects work standards: production, productivity, and qualitystandards; resolving operational problems; identifying work processimprovement.Approves incoming materials by auditing adherence to specifications,conduct of visual and measurement tests, and materials rejection.Approves in-process production by auditing adherence to specifications,conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating requiredadjustments to production personnel.Approves finished products by auditing adherence to specifications,conduct of visual and measurement tests, return of products for re-workand waster reports; inputting data into quality database.Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office.This is a full-time position primarily in the field on a highway/bridgeQA Construction site.This job description is not intended to be exhaustive of all duties andresponsibilities.
