Join us and be part of something extraordinary.Weu2019re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President to join our Institutional Lending team supporting Broker-Dealers. This role is located in New York City, NY. In this role, youu2019ll make an impact in the following ways: The BNY Loan Desk is a component of Institutional Lending that manages overnight and intraday loan portfolios to support the credit needs of various financial market participants. Interact daily with many Financial Market Utilities and Broker Dealer Clients regarding the trading activity and associated settlement/margin obligations of mutual customers. Manage lending transactions from inception to closing. Structure lending solutions to client liquidity needs on a secured and unsecured basis. Provide high quality analysis of complex transactions and make presentations of these findings as appropriate or needed. Exercise strong lending and analytical judgment, while making decisions in a timely manner. Analyze purpose of financing, sources of repayment, and quality of collateral (if any) in response to requests for credit from lines of business. Monitor news of assigned borrowers, which may involve recommendations on re-ratings of internal borrower credit ratings, reviewing financial statements, earnings reports, rating agency/analyst/industry reports. Assist risk management efforts and help with the development of documentation and reporting as needed. Work closely with senior relationship managers, portfolio management, client executives, and analyst teams. Help identify existing and emerging risks that are applicable given industry trends, economic conditions, current events, etc. To be successful in this role, weu2019re seeking the following: Bacheloru2019s Degree is required. MBA or graduate degree in a business-related field is preferred. The candidate must have a minimum of 10+ yearsu2019 experience in finance, banking, credit risk management, or financial risk management. The candidate must have strong communication skills and demonstrate a record of accomplishment and excellence in delivery. Strong relationship management skills and ability to partner with a large array of constituents; ability to manage and influence change are required. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment that demands quick thinking, problem solving, and effective relationship skills. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $102,000 and $211,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
