About the HiltonMadison Monona Terrace Nestled on the sparkling shores of Lake Monona,the Hilton Madison Monona Terrace offers breathtaking views of the cityand surrounding lakes. Built in 2000, this 14-story, 240-room hotel isjust one block from the State Capitol and minutes from the University ofWisconsin. Adjacent to the vibrant Monona Terrace Community andConvention Center, the property offers guests easy access to rooftopconcerts, lakeside cultural events, and local art exhibits. What youwill be doing: Champion the hotel's strategic vision and drive itsexecution through innovative planning and decisive leadership. Foster aculture of excellence by empowering associates to deliver outstandingguest service and personalized care. Serve as an active communitypartner, enhancing the hotel's presence and impact within the localarea. Ensure financial performance by delivering accurate forecasts andmaking timely staffing and operational adjustments. Leadrevenue-generating initiatives and adapt quickly to market trends byguiding Commercial Team efforts. Engage directly in sales effortsthrough property tours, presentations, and client meetings to supportbusiness growth. Oversee the recruitment, training, development, andretention of top talent across all departments. Provide ongoing supportand guidance to team members, cultivating a respectful and productivework environment. What we are looking for: Team-oriented andpeople-centric Exceptional attention to detail Quantifiable track recordof past success Associate champion with strong selection, developmentand mentorship experience Strategic thinker as it relates to businessleadership and revenue management Ability to direct marketing and salesefforts to constantly position property as a compset leader Capable ofgathering/analyzing competitive market intelligence Experience as aHotel General Manager or other key leadership roles within afull-service branded or non-branded environment is required (Hiltonbrand and systems experience would be helpful) Previous experience inunion settings beneficial A Bachelor's degree is not required butgreatly preferred What's in it for...
