The Actuarial Associate will analyze and evaluate thelikelihood of future events in order to reduce and manage future plete and interpret actuarial analysis, valuations, cost estimates,and modeling using statistical programming and database tools. Performrate level pricing functions and prepare monitoring reports on programor product pricing. Measure historical relationships to developforecasts and identify trends. Performs other duties as assigned. KeyAccountabilities Conduct and interpret actuarial analyses, valuations,and cost estimates. Perform rate level pricing functions and preparemonitoring reports. Use statistical programming and database tools formodeling and forecasting. Analyze historical data to identify trends anddevelop future projections. Apply actuarial principles to complexprojects with moderate decision-making authority. Recommend new projectsand work procedures to improve team or unit performance. Contribute toteam objectives and influence functional goals through professionalexpertise. Serve as a resource to others and support cross-functionalcollaboration. The successful candidate will possess strong analyticaland statistical skills, demonstrate independent judgment, and have aproven ability to manage complex projects. They will be a collaborativeteam player who communicates effectively and contributes to continuousimprovement and innovation. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree orequivalent experience in a related field. Minimum of 5 years of workexperience beyond degree. Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA)designation. Strongly Preferred Qualifications Experience in healthcareor insurance actuarial work. Advanced proficiency in statisticalprogramming and database tools. Knowledge of ACA Individual or SmallGroup pricing. Skills and Abilities Proficiency in actuarial analysisand modeling techniques. Strong statistical and analytical skills.Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively.Skilled in using statistical programming and database tools.
