Attimes this position may also be working with Housing Facilities staff inresidence halls or dining units. This position: Performs plumbing workin a variety of University Housing buildings, including driving vehiclesto efficiently transport staff, move supplies, and urgently respond toemergency situations Performs duties in a highly diverse student andfamily housing community, including resident-occupied spaces, as well asin vacant and common areas Provides support and assistance as needed inthe implementation of plans and procedures in the event of an emergencyCommunicates in English via radio and in person to emergency personnelWork Schedule will be determined with the selected finalist upon hire.Primary schedule is Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00am -5:00pm Work with our maintenance and trades teams focused on excellentcustomer service with no sales component. Base hours are all daytimehours with flexible start time.Key Job Responsibilities: Cleans workarea upon completion of projects according to established guidelines andexpectations Interprets blueprints and drawings to assess specificationsand calculate the materials and equipment required.
