PAY RATE: $16 / HOUR Job Summary: Operates linen roomfunctions and distributes clean linen throughout facility. EssentialDuties and Responsibilities: Delivers clean linen to the differentdepartments within the hospitals. Required to pick up all soiled linensfrom soiled rooms. Takes and fills orders from hospital staff. Ensuresall exchange carts are delivered to the floors. Ensures all soil linenhas been picked up and taken to the receiving dock. Ensures all soilcarts are full; if not full, plans for consolidation. Reports issues orconcerns to supervisor immediately. Ensures that linen room is left neatand organized at the end of the shift. Builds clean, neat, organizedcarts to set standard par level. Aligns/stages carts as needed. Performsother duties as assigned. Qualifications: Ability to lift 50 pounds andpush/pull a wheeled cart of 650 pounds. Ability to count and recordinventory of terry/linen.
