FTE: 1.000000 Standard Hours: 40.00 Shift: Shift 2 Shift Details:M-F 1pm-930pm or 2pm-1030pm, 3 holidays per year, no weekends JobSummary: The Environmental Services (EVS) Staff Member will be expectedto provide a clean and safe environment at all times while observingsafe practices, infection control measures, customer service standardsand departmental policies as listed, but not limited to this jobdescription. This position is responsible for maintaining a cleanenvironment in the surgical area. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimum of 1year of EVS/Housekeeping experience is required. A minimum of 6 monthsprevious OR support experience is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: HighSchool diploma or equivalent is preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:Requires the ability to read, write, or understand the English language,and communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff whileperforming housekeeping duties.
