As a Retail Property Underwriting Manager at Everest Insurance, you'll be responsible for driving growth, optimizing performance, and managing risk across the retail property line of business.What You'll DoIn this role, you will:Take responsibility for the profitable development of the retail property portfolio.Execute strategy with a focus on risk management, business growth, and achieving profit objectives.Maximize business value through portfolio optimization, operational efficiency, and smart risk selection.Help foster a work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and collaboration.Identify opportunities to leverage technology within the underwriting process to improve efficiency.What You BringTo succeed in this role, you should:Be accountable for underwriting an assigned book of business and accounts within the retail property line in your region.Support the execution of the retail property plan, adjusting strategies to meet market demands.Preserve and enhance profitability through product development, pricing discipline, competitive analysis, and performance metrics.Execute underwriting strategy and continuously improve guidelines and processes.Contribute to the delivery of key business metrics.Lead business development efforts and support annual business and budget planning.Provide insurance solutions and broader risk management support for clients with complex risks.Review insurance submissions and offer terms that align with Everest's underwriting standards.#LI-Hybrid#LI-RS1For NY Only: The base salary range for this position is $75,000- $107,000 annually.
