Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Trailer Technician in Tukwila, WA! The Trailer Technician will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of Class 7 - 8 trailers and will operate vehicles and test all working parts in various functions to ensure proper operation. This unique Class 8 Trailer Fleet is onsite at the client, customer-facing skills, PO creation on a laptop, and tracking inventory and parts are required. Aged Fleet parts fabrication requiredMust have strong customer service skills, onsite, outdoors, face-to-face with customers dailyMust be able to enter and exit the driver's compartment of the truck and/or behind the cab using normally available footholds and handholdsMust provide own hand toolsPerform DOT inspectionsBasic computer skillsBasic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)Working Conditions:Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes, and noise.Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases, or other irritantsAccess any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenanceAbility to move and position heavy objectsAbility to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and crawl to repair vehiclesAbility to work outside in various weather conditions.Are you ready to advance your career as a Trailer Technician with Amerit Fleet Solutions?
