Budget Analyst

Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a Budget Analyst supporting the Space Systems Command (SSC) Military Communication and Positioning, Navigation and Timing Directorate (CG) in the United States Space Force. This position will support the SSC/CG program office as it rapidly premier capabilities resilient to the threat by the relentless pursuit of warfighter needs and acquisition excellence.As a member of the Program Acquisition Support (PAS) Team, you will be developing, facilitating, updating and/or coordinating 3-letter and 4-letter level briefings, tasks, reports, media queries, public releases, and special projects.This is a full-time opportunity located in LA, CA.***Contingent upon contract award***Duties include, but not limited to:Respond to various tasks to include but not limited to data calls, document reviews, acquisition reporting, travel requests, media requests, and other mandatory reporting directed by Congress, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Secretary of the Air Force, Headquarters Air Force, Headquarters Space Force, Space Systems Command, and local entitiesProvide substantive analysis of pertinent topics to support requirements for situational awareness and in-depth understanding of specific 3-letter and 4-letter issuesMaintain continuity of key acquisition documents supporting policy, program milestones, and strategy decisionsResearch, draft, and edit articles, speeches, and testimony on the Directorate organization, missions, operations, and initiativesReview, coordinate, and process program information suitable for public release to industry, media, trade publications, international partners, and other program stakeholdersProvide coordination for PEO organizations visits.
