Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for an Assurance Specialist supporting the Space Systems Command (SSC) Military Communication and Positioning, Navigation and Timing Directorate (CG) in the United States Space Force. This position will support the SSC/CG program office as it rapidly premier capabilities resilient to the threat by the relentless pursuit of warfighter needs and acquisition excellence.This is a full-time opportunity located in LA, CA.***Contingent upon contract award***Duties include, but not limited to:Develop, maintain, and update instructions, implementation guides, charters, and standardized processes in accordance with the latest regulations and directivesRetrieve, review, synopsize, and distribute the most current DoD, Air Force, Space Force, and SSC policy, guidance, instructions, processes, procedures, best practices, and information for compliance within the DirectorateSupport the development, procurement, data collection, usage, modification/enhancement, implementation, integration, testing, documentation, verification, validation, protection and maintenance of tools, processes, guidelines, methodologies, models, simulations, databases, web sites, reports, and applications to support the execution and management of MilComm & PNT acquisition and sustainment programsDevelop, document, modify, transition to, and maintain standard functional databases to support organizations in meeting mission requirementsReview documents for consistency with applicable military, federal, state, local, contractual, commercial, international statutes, regulations, policiesIdentify acquisition discrepancies from reports, documents, briefs or deliverables and report them to the GovernmentProvide recommendations to the Government on deliverables or services with multiple options maximizing the Government’s ability to make a knowledgeable and concise decision consistent with its responsibility to perform in the public’s best interestProvide the Government reports and briefs on how to implement policies, conduct independent program assessments, and conduct risk assessments for the portfolioAssist the Government throughout the PPBE cycleFacilitate/Coordinate PEO level strategic briefings, messages (PA/Media), reports, analysis and special projectsProvide information, analysis, and recommendations for the effective alignment of portfolio acquisitions, manpower, and funding to the Directorate for management and integration of the portfolio***Contingent upon contract award***Citizenship: Must be a US citizenMinimum Required QualificationsClearance: SecretEducation: High School DiplomaYears of Experience: At least 9 years of experience in related fieldExperience utilizing an IMSPreferred QualificationsEducation & Years of Experience: Associates degree or higher and at least 7 years of experience in related field OR Bachelor’s degree or higher and at least 3 years of demonstrated experiencein a related field.Additional InformationLocation: On-site at LA AFB, with telework capabilities for local candidatesHybrid: Percentage of telework/remote allowed will vary based on the customer's discretion.#LI-JK1***Contingent upon contract award***Odyssey Systemsis a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
