Operators must also have additional knowledge of the plant flow in order to make swift changes for production rate maximization. , Essential Job FunctionsConducts job tasks with a positive, safe attitude and maintains a safe work record.Maintains a good attendance recordWork rotating shifts of various lengths including weekends and holidaysMaintains good communication with all plant personnel. (Other shifts, departments and managers)Maintain sorting equipment to ensure quality acceptable quality performanceMaintain production ratesAbility to understand and perform assigned job tasks easily and independently while flexible enough to work in team settings.Maintains good housekeeping and completes sanitation duties and paperwork as required.Conducts daily inspections, reporting any problems noted.Continuously monitors and cleans equipment for optimal performance and qualityReview production records and labeling for accuracyPerform quality checks as requiredMay perform other duties as assigned.
