TYPICAL DUTIES:Analyzing complex structural ironwork projects and recommending alternative strategies to complete the same projectReviewing project status reports prepared by foremen and reallocating resources to ensure projects are completed on time.Knowledge of applicable safety and code standards specific to the structural ironwork trade, including OSHA standardsMaintain Safety Accountability Procedures.Assure that a high quality of work is being maintained.Reviewing individual crew daily Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) for compliance, and attending weekly crew safety meeting to make sure all employees are engaged in conversationHave good supervisor skills for managing sure that Foreman complete Craft Employee Evaluations.Promote a strong Safety culture within the crews supervised.Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and takeall necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards.Perform all other job-related duties as requested by supervision.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:Minimum of four (4) years or more of refinery maintenance/turnaround/or construction experience. Knowledge of structural iron repair, maintenance, and preventative maintenance methods, practices, and proceduresMust be able to pass the Craft Skills Test at or above 70% or complete the NCCER certification for your craft. Must have a good understanding of Matrix Service policies and pleted the Matrix Service Safety training, Process Safety Management training, S.T.A.R.T.
