You will perform civil design calculations, develop details, prepare sketches, impact analyses, and similar technical work as required. Weu2019ll ask you to provide quantity calculations to prepare preconstruction cost estimates for rail/transit projects. Working alongside a team, youu2019ll work on projects from concept to completion.Youu2019ll be responsible for creating design and drawings using software tools and resources supporting our clientsu2019 overall project goals. Youu2019ll support the development of Contract Documents for Construction. Bacheloru2019s Degree in Civil Engineering Engineer in Training Certification (EIT) Has demonstrated years of professional experience on rail and transit projects Professional expertise with MicroStation and/or InRail (or AutoCad) Knowledge of AREMA and local railroad criteria Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills Demonstrates strong problem solving mindset working in Team Environment Excellent communication skills Strong focus on client service Support plan set development meeting client expectationsJacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
