The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services, including examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of various eye conditions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the visual health of our patients while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.Responsibilities- Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and detect eye diseases.- Diagnose and treat visual disorders, including prescribing corrective lenses.- Provide pediatric eye care services, ensuring a comfortable environment for young patients.- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA standards.- Educate patients on proper eye care practices and the importance of regular eye exams.- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the management of ocular health.- Stay updated on advancements in optometry, ophthalmology, and optical technologies.- Assist in sales of eyewear products and provide excellent customer service to enhance patient satisfaction.Requirements- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution.- Valid state license to practice optometry.- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to eye care and physiology.- Experience with pediatric patients is preferred but not mandatory.- Familiarity with optical equipment and ophthalmology practices is advantageous.- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.- Ability to manage medical records efficiently and maintain patient confidentiality.- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Join us in making a positive impact on our patients' lives through exceptional eye care
