The desired candidate would be someone who enjoys working outdoors, is a team player, self-motivated, detailed oriented, and appreciates the value of hard work.Duties include but not limited to mix, prepare and apply chemical solutions (insecticides, herbicides, fungicides). The candidate will also keep up with pesticide and fertilizer inventory as well as keeping records of pesticide and fertilizer applications.Special Requirements: Have no problems wearing spray applicator suites, full face respirators, or chemical resistant apparelAble to lift 50 poundsPerform simple calculationsWilling to learnDetail oriented Keep area neat and organized Have or willing to obtain Pesticide Applicators License within 60 days of employmentPrevious experience is a plusJob Description:Apply fertilizer and chemical applicationsUpdate spray records, inventory and MSDS sheets Calibrate spray equipment and fertilizer spreadersGeneral upkeep and maintenance on spray equipment Over time be able to start diagnosing pest and fungus issues
