Project Scheduler/Controls Engineer Location: Los Angeles, CA, US Job ID: ATR 17690 Job Description Job Title: Project Scheduler/Project Controls Engineer Job Location: Downtown Los Angeles, California Eligibility/Clearance: US Citizen Compensation: $95,000 - $160,000 commensurate with experience Job Description: Stelic is seeking a full-time, onsiteProject Scheduler / Planning & Controls Engineerto support a large-scale public works project in Los Angeles. This role requires advanced scheduling expertise withPrimavera P6to develop, maintain, and analyze cost- and resource-loadedCritical Path Method (CPM) schedules. The Scheduler will provide accurate planning, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring alignment across design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover. The position will collaborate closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and ownersu2019 representatives to maintain schedule integrity and drive project success. Key Responsibilities u00b7 Collect and validate schedule update data from project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and ownersu2019 representatives, and incorporate approved updates into the schedule. u00b7 Establish and maintain project schedule baselines in compliance with contractual requirements, monitoring performance and identifying variances. u00b7 Build and manage cost- and resource-loaded schedules, update actuals to support earned value, and generate standard reports including critical activities, baseline deviations, earned value indices, and cash flow. u00b7 Prepare monthly reporting packages, including narratives and KPI summaries for management and client review. u00b7 Develop detailed CPM schedules from the ground up for proposals and active projects. u00b7 Perform network logic analysis to validate sequencing, float accuracy, and critical path alignment. u00b7 Conduct u201cwhat-ifu201d and time-impact analyses to evaluate risks, delays, and recovery options. u00b7 Facilitate schedule coordination meetings with internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure alignment and accountability. u00b7 Support planning sessions such as pull planning to align construction sequencing and commissioning requirements. u00b7 Provide clear, data-driven schedule insights that support executive decision-making and project delivery. Requirements: u00b7 Seeking experience at junior-mid (3-7 years) and senior (7+ years) levels. u00b7 Available to work on site multiple days per week. u00b7 Proven experiencescheduling large public construction projects. u00b7 Advanced proficiency inPrimavera P6and strong skills inMicrosoft Office Suite. u00b7 Experience withcost- and resource-loaded schedulesandearned value systems. u00b7 Strong understanding of construction sequencing. u00b7 Knowledge of schedule risk analysis, delay analysis, and recovery planning. u00b7 Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. u00b7 Must be based in or willing to relocate to Los Angeles, CA; this is a full-time onsite role. u00b7 Bacheloru2019s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. Work Environment: This role is based onsite at the Los Angeles project site. Work will be performed in both office and active construction environments, requiring regular field walks and coordination with project teams and contractors.
