Third Shift: Sunday-Thursday 10:00pm-6:00am. (Train on 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:00pm.)TITLE: NDT Operator REPORTS TO: NDT SupervisorJob Description:Responsible for running X-ray and ultrasonic wall inspection on all routed patterns, maintaining logs, and notifying supervision of issues.Responsibilities:Follows the customer work instructions to run X-ray and wall inspections with the proper settings and equipmentUnderstand risks and proper procedures associated with working around radiationWill accurately record X-ray inspection results in the appropriate log and locationWill meet the designated rates for production and accurately fill production time sheetsWill accurately monitor results of inspections to maintain product flow and identify issuesWill notify supervision of issues with product failureFollow all safety and 6-S guidelines for the areaPhysical and Mental Demands:Must be detail and safety orientedMust possess or be trained in basic computer skillsPhysical ability to move up to 35 poundsAn understanding of the English language is necessaryAbility to effectively communicate with supervision as necessary /generated inline style / All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. /generated inline style / This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
