Loving, co-parenting households in Angels Camp, CA, are seeking a dedicated, nurturing, and reliable full-timecareer nanny to support the daily rhythms of young children’s lives. The role focuses primarily on caring for two young children (ages 5 and 6 living with mom), while also providing light support to two older children (ages 14 and 15 living with dad) as needed. The two households are minutes away from one another. The general schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9am to 5pm. The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, nurturing, and flexible - someone who can create a calm, supportive environment and help ensure the children are well cared for and thriving. This is a long-term position, and the candidate should be passionate about being an integral part of the children’s individual and collective journeys through all milestones and moments. Relocation is being offered for the right candidate.Include, but are not limited to:Provide full-time care and supervision for two young children, and at times, 2 teensAlways ensuring the safety and well-being of the children and setting them up to thriveAssist with school routines, transportation, and transitions (short walking distance between homes)Support the teen siblings as needed (minimal support; mostly independent)Provide an inclusive environment for the teens (ie: invite them to dinner or make extra snacks in case they want something)Help maintain and form structure and consistent routinesHomework assistance and incorporate educational playFoster a nurturing, respectful, and emotionally supportive environmentCollaborate closely with both parentsLight household duties:Meal planning and preparation, including snacks and school lunchesLight cleaning and tidying related to the children, including laundryOccasional help with scheduling or appointmentsTravel with the family on occasion (all travel within ~90 minutes)Be attuned to each child’s emotional well-being and individual needsEncourage creativity, and provide gentle transitionsDrive children to/from activities and appointmentsOccasional household errands, such as grocery shopping and picking up suppliesConsistently model good behavior and show patience and kindnessKeep a nanny log and communicate any questions or concernsProactively research local age-appropriate activitiesMonitor and suggest when children need new clothing, supplies, and any other items that may be needed.Warm, grounded, and emotionally intelligentOrganized and proactive with the ability to create and maintain structureFlexible and collaborative, comfortable working in a co-parenting setupNon-judgmental and empathetic, able to support the family dynamic with compassionSelf-sufficient and capable, ready to take initiative and lead routinesComfortable preparing meals and helping with household logisticsProfessional, dependable, and trustworthyRespectful and supportive presence with a sense of humorA natural nurturerConfident and emotionally attunedPrior experience in a similar roleLong-term commitment (no job hoppers)Pet-friendly - The family has 3 dogsValid driver’s license and clean driving record (Personal vehicle to be used.
