At CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy, our focus is patient-centered care. Our level I trauma center and academic medical center campus is designed to heal the body, mind, and spirit of every person in a more comfortable, less stressful hospital environment. Our full range of medical services includes trauma services, heart and vascular care, emergency services, surgery, maternity, cancer care, and diagnostic imaging.Contributes to the fulfillment of the CHI Health Mission and Vision by implementing and maintaining programs, adhering to policies, and patient care delivery standards of care in assigned departments. Leads the delivery of patient care services on the shift to assure patient-centered care needs are met and quality, cost-effective care is delivered. Serves as a behavioral role model and promotes an awareness and understanding of positive ethical and moral principles. Acts as a nursing clinical subject matter expert.Functions as a mentor and coach.Assists with preparation of unit schedules.Assists in development and achievement of departmental budgets and goals.Assists with payroll activities such as monitoring timekeeping.Facilitates ongoing problem solving that utilizes Department PI to achieve desired quality outcomes.Conducts on-the-job training and education on topics such as quality and patient satisfaction.Serves as a clinical resource in area of specialty.Graduate of an RN nursing programRegistered Nurse: NE (RN:NE)Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 5 months of hire.One year of ICU experience.
