This role must be personable, able to work in an ever-changing fast-paced environment & assist the Director of Performance Dining with projects including training, inventory and special events.The Supervisor must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00-$22.00Benefits for Full-Time roles: Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching, and Paid Time Off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays).This position will remain open until December 26, 2025.The Anderson Family Football Complex is a state-of-the-art training facility for the University of Kansas football team. This complex includes a dedicated dining area known as “Performance Dining', where student-athletes enjoy nutritious meals designed to fuel their performance. The facility supports the team’s rigorous training schedule and is an integral part of their athletic development.ResponsibilitiesOverseeing the serving of meals to student athletes, staff, and guests.Responsible for supervising the service of beverages to guests.Assisting host with P.O.S. system for student athletes and guests.Observing guests to respond to any additional requests and determine when the meal has been completed.Lead and supervisor hourly FOH performance dining team.Supervises the set-up of banquet functions.Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas.Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.Assures that the location equipment is operable and clean prior to start of event/player feeding.Enforces all OVGH policies and procedures.All other duties as assigned by the managers.QualificationsAbility to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.Ability to speak, read and write in English.Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.Possess valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS credit transactions and product inventory.Education, Qualifications and Experience:At Least 1-2 years’ experience working in a supervisory capacity in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment or applicable education.At OVG, we understand that to continue positively disrupting the sports and live entertainment industry, we need a diverse team to help us do it.
