Through our Give Back program, we own our commitment to Social Responsibility and live our purpose of Packaging a Better Future.Job Duties:Manage, direct and coordinate all activities related to a production shift to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining qualityTypically supervises 50 plus employeesCoordinate with Scheduler to ensure daily production requirements are achievedCarry out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring & training employeesPlanning, assigning & directing workAppraising performanceRewarding & disciplining employeesAddressing complaints & resolving problemsEnsure all production data is gathered and reported correctly on a daily basisSupport & improve upon Quality initiatives designed to meet plant goalsEnsures safety programs are implemented effectively, reviewed regularly and revised as necessaryJob Qualifications:BA/BS degree preferred (business, engineering)2+ years of manufacturing experienceSupervisory experience preferredGood verbal & interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work well in group situationsAbility to deal effectively with conflict in mature & consistent mannerGood computer skillsSAP experience preferred
