Now Hiring Seasonal On-Call Parking AttendantsStarting at at $23.00 Per HourThe Town of Vail, Colorado, the premier mountain community and international resort, is seeking guest service professionals, to join our parking team.Parking Attendants are responsible for collecting parking fees, maintaining parking facilities, giving great guest services, and accommodating traffic flow for our parking operations.Duties include, but are not limited to:Be approachable and accessible for guests. Invite friendly and helpful guest interactions.Responsible for collecting parking fees from customers with accuracy anda smile.Use software to troubleshoot guest issues, equipment issues, monitor traffic flow, and otherwise aid in tasks.Prepare and complete accurate records and reports.Assist customers in a courteous manner, and answering general questions with a positive attitude.Perform various traffic control responsibilities, and ensure a productive and safe traffic flow.Responds to citizen andguest questions, concerns and complaints in a timely, courteous and helpful manner to exceed expectations.Monitors all radio traffic; communicating with appropriatecoworkers and managementwhen necessary.Audit cars in parking lot and monitors parking facilities for space availability andsafety concerns.Maintain parking areas. Maintenance work includes but is not limited to: sweeping, trash picking, cleaning, equipment maintenance, etc.Assist in communicating to guests, including changing signage at parking locations, and providing information.Uphold the Town of Vail values.Drive Town of Vail vehicles.All other duties as assigned. This position is exposed to car emissions, dust, fumes and adverse weather conditions.Shifts / SchedulesSchedule will be seasonal on-call and may include day shifts, overnight shifts and holidays.Vail is a guest service oriented and resort destination community.
