In this role, you’ll handle everything from routine maintenance to complex engine rebuilds, ensuring our fleet stays in top condition to serve our clients across the Intermountain West. If you’re skilled in diesel systems and thrive on problem-solving, we want you on our team!Things You’ll DoDiagnose, rebuild, and repair vehicles and equipment; perform major engine and transmission repairs and replacements as well as electrical diagnosis.Perform major electrical repairs (including electronic controls), minor welding repairs, engine and transmission repairs and replacements, as well as equipment and plant maintenance repairs.Perform inspections and preventive maintenance of vehicles and equipment.Perform electrical diagnostics, welding repairs, equipment and plant maintenance, and more.Respond to field service calls and perform on-site repairs as needed.Maintain tools as required to perform job (we'll provide you with a tool allowance and cell phone stipend). Ensure a safe, clean, and health-conscious work environment at all times.RequirementsAt least 1 year experience as a field mechanic and 2-4 years’ experience as a diesel mechanic.Valid CDLMust be able to obtain department of transportation (DOT) medical card.Machining experience (lathe, mill, line boring ,or similar equipment) strongly preferred.Solid background in diesel systems, hydraulics, and electrical diagnostics.Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently in the field.Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.Commitment to safety, reliability, and high-quality work.
