Salary: $2625 / Week We are seeking a compassionate and skilled OccupationalTherapist (OT) to join our dynamic rehabilitation team in Palm Springs, CA. Theideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care, rehabilitation, oroutpatient therapy and a passion for helping patients regain independence intheir daily lives. About the Role: Weu2019re looking for a compassionateand skilled Occupational Therapist to join our school-based team. In this role,youu2019ll conduct student evaluations, design personalized therapy plans, anddeliver services that help students thrive academically and socially. Youu2019llplay a vital part in supporting studentsu2019 development and independence, whilecollaborating with educators and families to create meaningful progress. Position Details: Location: PalmSprings, CA Start Date: ASAP End Date: June 5, 2026 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week Caseload: 25-30 students Local Pay Rate: $70-80 per hour Weekly Travel Stipend: $3,000+ Travel packages are available to individuals who live50+ miles from the on-site work location Key Responsibilities: + Evaluate and treat patients with physical, developmental,or cognitive impairments. + Develop and implement individualized treatment plansusing evidence-based practices. + Administer therapeutic activities including ADLretraining, therapeutic exercises, and use of assistive devices. + Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for careplanning and discharge coordination. + Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliancewith state and federal regulations. + Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapygoals and adaptive techniques. + Participate in clinical mentorship, program development,and continuous learning. To practice as an Occupational Therapist in California,candidates must: + Hold a degree from an ACOTE-accredited OccupationalTherapy program + Pass the NBCOT (National Board for Certification inOccupational Therapy) exam + Obtain licensure through the California Board ofOccupational Therapy (CBOT) + Maintain compliance with all California state regulationsfor school-based practice General Qualifications: + Bacheloru2019s, Masteru2019s, or Doctorate in OccupationalTherapy. + Active California OT license. + Minimum 1u20133 years of clinical experience preferred. + BLS certification (American Heart Association). + Strong communication and organizational skills. + Experience in acute rehab or skilled nursing settings isa plus.
