Cardinal Health has an immediate opening for a Laboratory Support Associate (LSA). This highly visible position, reporting directly to the Region Director, is responsible for assisting the Laboratory Products Selling Organization to help deliver on their strategic priorities through enhanced customer support and service. In addition, this position offers an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to develop the necessary skills & experience for a successful transition into a future selling role. Territory : Candidate is required to be in Palo Alto, CA area twice per week. Coverage also includes San Francisco Bay area. Responsibilities: u2022 Report to the Region Director and assist field sales organization to drive operational efficiency and accelerate sales growth by helping alleviate non-selling activity u2022 Increase connectivity across sales team by supporting key sales initiatives from the development through execution phase u2022 Provide reporting & data analysis to support customer business reviews, RFPs, product backorders, cross referencing, and ad-hoc presentations u2022 Complete all field sales training & onboarding programs, including FST & Advanced Corporate Training u2022 Manage customer activity across open territories within assigned region u2022 As Instructed by Region Director, Identify, qualify, prepare, and execute effective sales strategies that maintain the existing base of business and support the close of competitive and revenue growth opportunities u2022 Effectively utilize and update sales tools to help field sales team accurately address trends in existing base of business, create call strategies, and to manage territory and strategic business plans u2022 Assist field sales team by helping generate leads and Identifying new business opportunities u2022 Coordinate and collaborate with field sales, marketing & sales operations teams to drive key product & portfolio initiatives u2022 Foster productive relationships with Marketing, Customer Service, and other key internal stakeholder groups u2022 Participate in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows as directed u2022 Master all products and applications by demonstrating ongoing competency u2022 Maintain knowledge of the current industry / competitive landscape. u2022 Increase knowledge base through attendance at educational programs / seminars / conferences, as well as reading journals and participating in committee or group programs u2022 Complete all administrative requirements in a timely and comprehensive manner (expenses, compliance, CRM, as directed) Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s Degree preferred u2022 1-2 years in a sales or marketing role preferred u2022 Ability to understand complex products & services and develop sound business presentations and/or management reporting deliverables u2022 Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills u2022 Strong computer acumen and business application proficiencies u2022 Customer focused, results driven, action oriented & strong work ethic u2022 High career ambition and desire to do more within the organization u2022 Ability to travel domestically and within region often involving overnight stays u2022 Valid Driver's License Anticipated salary range: $63,000 - $90,000 Bonus eligible: No Benefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being. + Medical, dental and vision coverage + Paid time off plan + Health savings account (HSA) + 401k savings plan + Access to wages before pay day with myFlexPay + Flexible spending accounts (FSAs) + Short- and long-term disability coverage + Work-Life resources + Paid parental leave + Healthy lifestyle programs Application window anticipated to close: 10/31/2025 if interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible.
