Overview Responsibilities: A shift Backup Lead provides leadership making sure facility operations run according to policies and procedures. They coordinate daily operations by delegating job assignments and providing guidance. A shift Backup Lead provides supervision at an assigned location when the Manager is not present. The shift Backup Lead makes sure cleaning and maintenance duties are completed. They are responsible for keeping the facility areas clean and safe for all workers and customers. Pay: $18.00 _The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. For information about ABMu2019s benefits, visit ABM Team MemberBenefits Front Line Team Members ( (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) Job Details: u00b7 Conducts quality improvement inspections within assigned areas of responsibility. u00b7 Ensures quality and satisfaction levels are meeting and/or exceeding expectations. u00b7 Assures the highest quality of customer satisfaction. u00b7 Assists with Training and Development. u00b7 Provides guidance in safety, cleaning processes, procedures, and chemical usage to cleaning crew. u00b7 Backup Leads and participates in a team to ensure the successful completion of assigned tasks. u00b7 Responsible for the running and leadership of the shift in the absence of the Manager or the Building Lead. u00b7 When the Manager or the Building Lead is present, the Backup lead worker may be responsible for directing smaller work groups. u00b7 Assists the Supervisor and Manager in the direction and supervision of field employees. u00b7 While disciplinary authority is not given to this position, it is expected that the Backup Lead will report performance issues to the Manager and the Building Lead. u00b7 Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, shift coordinators, Manager and the Building Lead etc. u00b7 Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities. u00b7 Will cover any cleaning duties needed. Responsibilities: u00b7 Provides leadership and direction to team members. u00b7 Provides open communication between field employees and management. u00b7 Provides positive coaching to team members. Conducts quality improvement inspections within assigned areas of responsibility. u00b7 Ensures quality and satisfaction levels are meeting and/or exceeding expectations. u00b7 Assures the highest quality of customer satisfaction. u00b7 Assists with Training and Development. u00b7 Provides guidance in safety, cleaning processes, procedures, and chemical usage to cleaning crew. u00b7 Backup Leads and participates in a team to ensure the successful completion of assigned tasks. u00b7 Responsible for the running and leadership of the shift in the absence of the Supervisor. u00b7 When the Supervisor is present, the Backup lead worker may be responsible for directing smaller work groups. u00b7 Assists the Supervisor and Shift Manager in the direction and supervision of field employees. u00b7 While disciplinary authority is not given to this position, it is expected that the Backup Lead will report performance issues to the Manager and the Building Lead. u00b7 Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, shift coordinators, building lead, managers, etc. u00b7 Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities. u00b7 Assists with the training of housekeeping staff and schedules work assignments. u00b7 Oversees and performs cleaning operations in assigned building. u00b7 Takes care of keys and access cards for the property. u00b7 Reports damaged, broken and out of work features/items. u00b7 Makes sure premises are secured at all times. u00b7 Oversees and performs additional service requests (tag job) in assigned building. u00b7 Works with Area Manager to schedule jobs with Property Manager and cleaning crew to complete the work. u00b7 Oversees quality of jobs and confirms completion with Area Manager. u00b7 Provides training to all new hires assigned to the building. u00b7 Attends and participates in all meeting and training sessions involving assigned property and crew. u00b7 Completes time sheets, validates time sheet accuracy u00b7 Checks supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly. u00b7 Coordinates equipment usage and inventories. u00b7 Performs all tasks and duties required of your team. u00b7 Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
