Process Engineer

Job Title: Process Engineer Job Description We are seeking a hands-on and mechanically inclined Process Engineer to support our plastic injection molding operations. This role focuses on equipment troubleshooting, hydraulic systems, and mold maintenance. Responsibilities + Troubleshoot and repair injection molding equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. + Perform routine and preventive maintenance on molds and related machinery. + Support mold changeovers, setup, and optimization for production efficiency. + Diagnose and resolve issues related to mold performance, cycle times, and part quality. + Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure equipment reliability and uptime. + Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, mold performance, and corrective actions. + Assist in the installation and commissioning of new molding equipment. + Ensure compliance with safety protocols and operational standards. Essential Skills + Troubleshooting + Plastic injection molding + Mechanical systems + Process improvement + Lean manufacturing + Tool and die + Mechanical engineering + Process engineering Additional Skills & Qualifications + Associateu2019s or Bacheloru2019s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field. + Experience in plastic injection molding operations. + Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, troubleshooting techniques, and mechanical components. + Familiarity with mold setup, maintenance, and optimization. + Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Work Environment Primarily on the manufacturing floor with exposure to machinery and tools. May require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Carey, Ohio. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $100000.00/yr. Competitive benefits package.
