You will be responsible for aiding in reducing energy consumption in campus buildings. This role involves working on various data analytics projects, assisting in data acquisition, conducting analyses, and supporting the maintenance of the ENGIE C3ntinel energy data platform. You will gain hands-on experience in data analytics within the context of energy conservation initiatives. The internship work term will be January 5, 2026 - May 29, 2026, part-time 15-20 hours per week minimumYou will:Contribute to sustainability projects at The Ohio State UniversityInvestigate and correct data errorsFulfill data requestsUse C3ntinel to perform measurement and verification of energy conservation measures before and after implementationPerform analyses on energy conversation measuresYou will report to the Data Analyst II.What You'll BringYou must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate at The Ohio State UniversityA minimum of a bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldPrior coursework or experience in data analysisProficiency in Excel and Microsoft SuiteProficiency in RStudio or Jupyter NotebookExperience with PowerBI for data visualizationFamiliarity with handling large datasetsUnderstanding of coding languages like PythonAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamCommitment to accuracy and timely delivery of workAbility to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracyOrganizational, prioritization, and time management skillsDemonstrated ability to take initiativeEffective oral, written, and communication skillsOther duties as assignedAdditional DetailsAdditional hours/weeks may be available based on business needs and will be discussed in advance with your supervisorInterns must be enrolled and in good standing at the commencement of the intern semesterThis role requires attendance at a worksiteMust possess a valid U.S. driver's licenseMust be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety pensationHourly Range: $21.00 to $28.00 USD hourlyThis represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws.
