We are looking for a Consulting Member of Technical Staff, with distributed systems and mission-critical cloud-scale services experience. You have the ability to drive projects and tasks independently as well as provide technical leadership for development teams. You are technically strong, hands-on, and have a track record of delivering highly available, scalable systems. You understand that simple systems are easier to operate and troubleshoot. You can balance speed and quality with iteration and incremental improvements. Responsibilities Responsibilities: As a Consulting Member of Technical Staff, you will help build the Light-weight Infrastructure (our next-generation runtime for compute, networking, storage, telemetry, and governance) at the core of Autonomous OCI. Youu2019ll dive deep into complex systems, design and develop core services, and collaborate across teams to improve scale, resilience, and simplicity. Beyond coding, youu2019ll contribute to platform and product definitions, participate in design reviews, operations, hiring and mentoring, playing a leadership role in shaping the next generation of the OCI Service Platform u2014 a greenfield initiative redefining how cloud infrastructure is built. Qualifications: + 10+ years of relevant engineering experience designing and working in distributed systems and cloud services. + Strong communication skills and experience collaborating across teams + Experience as a technical lead, guiding architecture, design, and implementation of complex software systems. + Experience mentoring engineers + Expertise in software development, with experience in languages such as Java or Golang. + Expertise building and operating hosted software (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, etc.) + Experience with containers, Kubernetes, and scalable, reliable workflows is a plus.
