Kelly Science is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a growing client facility located in Albany, NY Pay: $24-27/hour depending on experience Shift: Monday-Friday day shift (may occasionally need to work a night shift for coverage) Employment Type: Full Time; Permanent position Summary: As the Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for performing laboratory and pharmacy related duties under direct supervision of the Nuclear Pharmacist. This position involves working within a clean room and occupational exposure to radiation, but it is closely monitored. Job Duties Include: + Perform the duties associated with compounding, dispensing, and distribution of FDG and NaF, including data entry with Pinestar for end-of-day reports and daily dose management reports. + Ensure compliance with USP , , proposed regulations, or other state pharmacy requirements as applicable, at the site level; maintain personal license in good standing through applicable state laws. + Complete cGMP documents as required within the Quality Management System + Ensure aseptic operations follow internal procedures (gowning, cleaning/sanitation, sterility, environmental monitoring, etc.), customer requirements, and FDA regulations. + Maintain a clean and safe working environment. + Perform radiation safety duties according to Corporate Radiation Compliance Program and site licensing requirements. + Provide quality customer service associated with radiopharmaceuticals to physicians, healthcare workers, customers, etc. Qualifications: + Associates or bacheloru2019s degree in chemistry or a related science field preferred; High school diploma required. + Pharmacy Technician Licensure or Certification required. + Previous experience as a pharmacy technician required. + Experience with sterile compounding and aseptic operations preferred. + Flexibility with schedule required.
