Insure patient compliance with applicable hospital policy and obtain accurate patient information to insure patient safety and optimal reimbursement to the organization in accordance with various external regulations. Determine and actively collect patient liabilities.Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional courses or training required; Associates Degree preferred.Medical Terminology Certificate required.Demonstrated communication & interpersonal skills are required.Strong computer skills including medical based programs required.Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel, and other software programs is preferred.Three (3) years related health care experience including working with third party payers is required.CHAM (Certified Healthcare Access Manage) or CHAA (Certified Healthcare Access Associate) preferred.Medical Terminology Certificate required.Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hiredCompensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.USD $17.68 - USD $27.78 /Hr.Required to work 3 shifts per month
