ZI360 - Houseman/Groundsman - Coral Gables, FL

A busy family recently arrived in Coral Gables seeks a houseman/groundsman. The ideal schedule would be Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm, however flexibility would be appreciated for occasional weekend help or changes to schedule. Candidates should be local to the area.The candidate will report to the house manager, and should be comfortable working as part of a team to support the family. Responsibilities will include:Cleaning, maintenance and management of all external areas ensuring family and guests can fully utilise and enjoy the grounds.Performing general maintenance and repair tasks within the home and grounds and/or coordinating with the house manager and appropriate vendors.Conduct regular property walk-throughs to ensure home is maintained to the highest standards, including regular testing of home equipment.Follow maintenance protocols for monthly/seasonal/annual checklists of the home, grounds and systems.Regular cleaning of vehicles, bicycles, outdoor furniture etc.Other ad-hoc requests as needed.Candidates should be completely fluent in English and confident drivers with a clean licence.Knowledge in maintaining high end surfaces and materials, such as natural stones, exotic woods etc is required.Candidates should have relevant experience in a similar role, and must be comfortable with doing minor repairs and checks.Must be comfortable around children and pets.Fit, active and strong, able to manage the upkeep of both the interior and exterior of the large property, and to work with tools and machinery.From $35/hr, DOE, with full benefits provided.
