Join DCI today to build relationships and gain fulfillment maintaining vital dialysis equipment in an acute care environment.The Chief Dialysis Equipment Technician coordinates clinic technical and building maintenance, including water treatment systems, dialysis machines and other equipment, to ensure patients receive the safest care with the highest-quality outcomes.Schedule: Fulltime Monday through Friday, on call as neededCompensation: Pay range from $18.00-$25.66 per hour, depending on technical equipment and dialysis experienceBenefits:Up to 12 weeks’ paid trainingComprehensive medical, dental and vision benefitsLife and long-term disability insurance provided at no additional expense to employeePaid time off (PTO) including holidaysExtended Sick Bank (ESB) in addition to PTO - paid time for doctor appointments, sickness or medical leaveRetirement plans with $.50 of each contributed dollar matched for eligible employees, up to 8 percentEducation reimbursementEmployee assistance programWellness programAmong othersWhat You Can Expect:Oversee equipment maintenance and repairs per manufacturer and DCI guidelines, as well as AAMI standardsEducate direct patient care and technical staff on all equipment’s proper use and maintenance, document trainingEnsure technical and direct care staff follow equipment and facility policies and proceduresConfirm buliding and equipment maintenance is up to date and in good working orderSchedule and oversee outside maintenance vendors as neededMaintain proper inventory following DCI guidelinesPerform air quality testing according to clinic policyStay updated on OSHA and other standards to provide a safe workplaceCoordinate and document routine technical staff meetingsParticipate in on-call duties and be available during emergencies as requiredAttend and present in monthly Quality Assessment Performance Improvement meetingsSuccessful Candidates Bring:Excellent communication and organizational skillsDemonstrated equipment proficiencyDesire to collaborate with team membersAbility to problem solveElectronics, plumbing or plant maintenance backgroundEducation/Training:Associate degree in biomedical applications or equivalent preferredOne year related experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair requiredManagerial or supervisory experience preferredDCI’s Differentiator:Since opening the first clinic 50 years ago in Nashville, Tenn., our Dialysis Clinic, Inc. family has grown to be the nation’s largest nonprofit dialysis provider with more than 270 locations in 30 states, serving nearly 14,000 patients each day.
