In this role, you will support the Human Resources department by managing a variety of administrative and operational responsibilities that keep daily HR functions running smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is eager to contribute to the success of both our employees and the organization.Snap-on offers a complete benefits package which includes: medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401(K) Savings and company paid retirement plan, paid vacation, and many other benefits.Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files, including onboarding documentation, change forms, terminated employee files, and compliance records, following proper record retention practicesManage data entry and updates in HRIS (ADP), including employee changes, reporting, and system auditsConduct and audit I-9 documentation to ensure compliance with federal regulationsPrepare and distribute HR reports (weekly, monthly,quarterly) and provide insights to HR leadership; recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and complianceAdminister employee milestone and recognition programs, including service awards and Royal Recognition coordination (with invoicing)Track and send reminders for 30/60/90-day reviews and other performance management timelinesPost job openings in the applicant tracking system (ATS), Coordinate Interviews, and manage candidate experienceMonitor HR and ITC inboxes, triage inquiries, and provide timely support to employees and managersAssist with employee engagement initiatives, events, and activities that support a positive workplace cultureMaintain compliance with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and reporting requirementsSupport HR projects and perform other duties as assignedEducation: Associate's degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferredExperience: Minimum of 2 years of HR-related experience preferred, ideally in a generalist or coordinator capacityAnalytical & Detail Orientation: Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail; capable of identifying trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvementAdaptability: Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment while maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude.HRIS Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), such as ADP, Oracle, Workday, or PeopleSoftConfidentiality & Ethics: Demonstrated ability to handle confidential, sensitive, and personal employee information with integrity and discretionCommunication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to interact effectively with employees, managers, and executives across all levels of the organizationProblem-Solving Mindset: Proactive and inquisitive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on identifying root causes and anticipating downstream impacts of HR actions or policiesCollaboration & Independence: Strong team player who collaborates well across departments, yet capable of working independently and taking initiative when neededTechnical & Administrative Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Outlook, and Word); comfortable with data entry, file management, and HR reporting tools
