From our headquarters in Libertyville, IL Snap-on Credit provides financing to technicians, students of automotive technical institutions, and shop owners for the purchase of Snap-on hand tools, power tools, tool storage, and diagnostic products through our Extended Credit program. Position Summary: Entry level position in which the primary responsibility is collections of early stage delinquent accounts in the Extended Credit portfolio within a regional business unit. Position will be responsible for directing and coordinating EC collections; evaluating, recommending and implementing solutions to resolve delinquency issues; and promoting and marketing Credit Sales programs to Franchisees and customers, while preparing for the potential role of an Account Manager. Position Responsibilities:Collection of EC accounts to achieve established Corporate/Regional goalsExtensive phone contact collecting on active delinquent accountsCoordinate collection efforts with Franchisee networkCoordinate product return with Account Managers/Senior Account ManagerReport and consult with management on major issuesAchieve assigned delinquency/loss goals and metricsAnswer field and customer questionsResolve credit/payment problemsAssist in promoting Credit Sales programs and promotions Requirements:High school diploma. 2 years customer service or collections preferredBachelor’s degree is preferredBusiness understanding and demonstrated skills and knowledge in:Credit and collectionsCommunications - verbal and writtenComputer applicationsNegotiationThe following individual skills and characteristics are particularly important:AnalyticalStandards and EthicsApproachableDecisiveCollaborativeWorking with Snap-on has benefits!
