Under the direction of the Operations Manager, this position prepares the arena for events, including arranging chairs and tables, athletic floors, and monitors and troubleshoots during the event to respond to malfunctions and other needs.This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00-$18.00.Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching.This position will remain open until December 31, 2025.Pan American Centeris multi-purpose arena in Las Cruces, New Mexico, located on the campus of New Mexico State University. The arena has a current seating capacity of 12,515 people. The arena serves as home of the New Mexico State Aggies Men’s and Women’s Basketball and Woman’s Volleyball Teams.Responsible for correct set up and tear down for eventsFlexible hours - daytime, leate evening, overnight and early morning hoursMaintains in a clean and presentable mannerResponsible for keeping all areas in safe, clean conditionKeeps front entrance and outside areas clean and trash picked upResponsible for converting the facility from one event to the nextResponsible for cleaning and maintaining needs of the facilitySome knowledge of a variety of building and other trades including electric, plumbing, small engine and carpentryAbility to use a variety of hand and power tools for the safe and effective maintenance and repair of arena facilities and equipmentAbility to understand and follow both oral and written instructionsAbility to communicate efectively in English, both verbally and in writingAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public, customers, vendors, and promotersAt OVG, we understand that to continue positively disrupting the sports and live entertainment industry, we need a diverse team to help us do it.
