REPORTS TO: Corps OfficerSUPERVISES: N/A STATUS: Nonexempt SCHEDULE: Seasonal FUNCTION: The Salvation Army Bell Ringer must be able to stand for an extended period of time while ringing the bell greeting customers and acknowledging guests. The Bell Ringer is responsible for securing donation for The Salvation Army to be used for services in our community. The Bell Ringer will encounter members of the public and should enjoy working with people.DUTIES:Ring the bell at your appointed kettle stand/location in and around Montgomery County, OhioSmile and greet customersCollect monetary donations of behalf of The Salvation ArmyGreet guest in a friendly and hospitable manner MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Must possess and understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation ArmyHave a pleasant, outgoing personalityAble to work flexible hoursDependableSafety consciousExcellent customer serviceMust be able to stand for long periods of timeThe Salvation Army’s Mission StatementThe Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church.Its message is based on the Bible.
