We are seekinganEmergency RoomCNA,also referred to as aEmergency Department CNA or(EDCNA) or an Emergency ServicesCNA(ES CNA).An Emergency Room CNA(ER CNA)assists nurses and doctors in the emergency room/ emergency departmentby providing patient care, monitoring vital signs, helping with procedures, and ensuring medical supplies are stocked. They also transport patients, document observations, maintain infection control, and offer emotional support in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Shift’s Available:Nights - 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.Employment Type:Full TimeLocation: St. Mary's Medical Center - Blue Springs, MOEssential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):Help patients with basic needs (bathing, dressing, toileting), reposition and transfer patients as neededMonitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration),assistwith wound care and dressing changes under supervisionPrepare rooms and ensure medical supplies are stocked, transport patients within the hospital (to imagingor other departments)Assistwith procedures (e.g., setting up equipment, applying splints), perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and basic life support if certifiedRecord patient information and observations, report changes in patient condition to nurses or doctors and provide emotional support to patients and familiesClean and sanitize patient areas and equipment, follow hospital protocols to prevent infection spreadEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING1. Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required.2. Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.3. Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.4.
