Overview This position is only Seasonal Rate: $24.00u2013$25.00/hour depending on experience Night Shift: 3:00 PM u2013 12:00 AM Schedule: Mondayu2013Friday, with some Saturdays based on client need + End Date : 12/15/2025 + Position Type : Temporary + Requirements : + OSHA-10 certification required before start date + Candidates must understand the working construction environment This position is only Seasonal Job Summary Details: The Cleanroom Ceiling Plenum Technician is responsible for executing specialized cleaning operations within the ceiling plenum space above the cleanroom environment in a semiconductor facility. This role requires precision, strict adherence to cleanroom and safety protocols, and the ability to perform duties while working at height using mobile scaffolding, ladders, and/or scissor lifts. For information about ABMu2019s benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits Front Line Team Members ( (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Pre-Work & Setup u2022 Complete required daily permit documentation: Inside Ceiling Work Plan, Restricted Work Permit, and Ceiling Access Control Form u2022 Perform tool/equipment inspection and clean using IPA wipes to prevent FOD (Foreign Object Debris) u2022 Gown up in full cleanroom PPE, including coveralls, booties, gloves, and a hair net per client protocol u2022 Prepare and inspect scaffolding or scissor lift equipment; confirm presence of valid inspection tags Ceiling Access & Cleaning u2022 Enter ceiling plenum space following safety procedures and tie-off requirements using SRLs, beam clamps, and anchor straps rated for fall protection u2022 Perform HEPA-filtered vacuuming and IPA wipe-downs of all surfaces, including beams, ducts, racks, struts, and sprinkler heads u2022 Adhere to strict FOD control by using tacky mats, shoe covers, and dedicated ceiling work shoes u2022 Follow cleaning sequence from high-to-low surfaces to maintain particle control standards Post-Work & Documentation u2022 Clean and store equipment properly after use u2022 Complete and sign out of the plenum logbook; ensure all tools are accounted for and damage-free u2022 Don/doff PPE in designated areas according to cleanroom protocol u2022 Report work completion, upload logs/photos via Kakao Chat, and escalate any discrepancies or abnormalities per protocol --- REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience & Knowledge u2022 1+ year experience in cleanroom environments or high-risk maintenance work preferred u2022 Familiarity with FOD control and cleanroom procedures is a strong advantage u2022 Comfortable working at heights and in confined ceiling spaces Certifications (ABM Provided if not current) u2022 Fall Protection Training (Required) u2022 Working from Heights Certification (Required) u2022 Scissor Lift Operation Certification (Required) u2022 Scaffold Inspection & Operation (Required) u2022 OSHA Respirator Medical Evaluation & Fit Test (Required) --- KEY ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS u2022 Strong attention to detail and cleanliness u2022 Teamwork and effective communication in a two-person crew u2022 Commitment to safety, procedural compliance, and professionalism u2022 Ability to adapt to client needs and maintain high standards under pressure --- WORK CONDITIONS u2022 Work performed inside controlled cleanroom environments u2022 Frequent standing, climbing, and working from elevated platforms u2022 Use of PPE for extended periods u2022 Day and night shifts available depending on project needs This position requires the ability to work in environments with higher-than-normal temperatures, including both hot and cold conditions.
