Requisition ID: 2025-430100 Employment Type: Full Time Department: Emergency Services Hours/Pay Period: 72 Shift: Night Weekly Schedule: 1730-0600 Remote: No Category: Paramedic and EMT Job Summary and Responsibilities Position Overview: The ED Tech/Clinical Secretary provides clerical support to the unit, and will also provide clinical services to patients within the scope of their certification. Job Requirements Minimal Requirements: + Acute care and clinical secretary experience + Successful completion of Emergency Medical Technician program + Emergency Medical Technician: CA (EMT CA) or Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic: CA (EMT-P CA) or Certified Nursing Assistant CA (CNA CA) + Approved CPR certification through AHA (CT CPR BLS) + Completion of approved Unit Clerk class or equivalent + Must pass Basic EKG test May not be Monitor observer until EKG test is passed within 6 months of employment.
