We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our our Employee Workplace Relationship Solutions (EWRS) organization team as a Sr. HR Investigator on the North America Centralized Investigations (NACI) team. The central objective of the NACI team is to ensure fair and respectful treatment of employees, consistent with our core business values and objectives. The ideal candidate for this position has strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to work successfully on a broad spectrum of employee and labor relations issues and projects. The Sr. HR Investigator will work proactively to: Key job responsibilities The Sr. HR Investigator will work proactively to: u2022 Investigate highly sensitive HR and Employee Relations issues, including: Conducting complainant, witness and subject employee interviews; Analyzing data from various internal systems; Case adjudication; Proposing remedial action based on investigation findings; Production of completed investigation documentation u2022 Independently manage assigned casework, bringing investigations to closure rapidly and definitively u2022 Design, collect, and analyze multiple levels of employee and stakeholder feedbackAnalyze aggregate casework data to identify issue trends and opportunities for proactive issue mitigation u2022 Analyze casework trends and produce strategic recommendations to the business to proactively address systemic issues u2022 Partner to engage in continuous improvement initiatives u2022 Partner in analysis and revision of people programs, policies, and practices to sustain a positive work environment for all WW Ops employees u2022 Consult and collaborate with business partners, Corporate ER teams, Legal teams, and 3rd Party Vendors on complex employee investigations u2022 The individual also will work reactively on critical employee relations issues that are crisis-oriented and typically can only be successfully completed with limited time. Balancing time between projects and crisis-response is a critical component for success in the position. Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree - Experience in conducting investigative work, including claimant, witness, and target employee interviews, investigative data analysis, and production of investigative documentation - Experience supporting hourly employee client group - Experience in a call center, distribution center, or manufacturing environment - 5-7 years human resource generalist experience or HR investigations specialist experiencePreferred Qualifications- Knowledge of employment law and HR policies and procedures - Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level - Experience in root cause analysis and troubleshooting or problem solving - Advanced degree, JD, or other specialized training in labor/employee relations Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $113,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $187,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
