Supervisor Sleep Lab 01

Job Summary Responsible for the Supervision of Sleep Disorders Center Night Technicians. The Sleep Disorders Center Supervisor must be a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist and will be able to perform the duties described in the Polysomnographic Technologist job description. Other job duties of the Sleep Disorders Center Supervisor include implementation of quality improvement activities, staff assignments to coordinate patient care and other clinical activities, staff competency assessment and staff human resources development. The Sleep Disorders Center Supervisor is also expected to maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. The Sleep Disorders Center Supervisor works under the direction of the Sleep Disorders Center Manager with clinical guidance from the Medical Director. The Sleep Disorders Center Supervisor carries out assigned duties and responsibilities according to policies, procedures and guidelines approved by the Medical Director of the department. Education Successful completion of an accredited educational program leading to an associate#s degree, preferably with an emphasis in polysomnography or equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a PSG Technician AND Registry by the BRPT.
