We strive to not only be the partner of choice for our residents, their families, and community partners—but also for our valued employees.Dining Services Associate - Position OverviewDining Services Associates play a vital role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of our residents through the preparation and service of nutritious meals, and maintaining kitchen and equipment sanitation. You’ll also contribute to a positive dining experience while following all applicable regulations.Why Work at Elderwood?Competitive pay ratesGas Allowance Stipend (for eligible full and part-time positions)Increased Tuition Assistance Program for Clinical TracksShift Differentials for evenings, nights & weekendsFull Benefits Package including Medical, Dental, Vision (for eligible employees)401(k) with Employer MatchPaid Time Off & Holiday PackageEmployee Referral ProgramDining Services Associate ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation and delivery of meals to residents according to department policies and assignments.Adhere to residents’ diet orders, texture/consistency modifications, and menu preferences.Perform all duties in accordance with safety regulations and standards of practice.Serve meals to residents in dining areas as per seating charts and tray tickets.Assist in maintaining cleanliness of kitchen environment and equipment.Actively participate in facility and department meetings and in-services.Interact with residents and family members regarding meal service quality when appropriate.Utilize electronic timekeeping systems as directed.Maintain punctuality and work scheduled shifts reliably.Follow facility dress code, including wearing name tag at all times.Adhere to policies regarding use of electronic devices and company equipment.Support Elderwood’s Mission, Vision, and Values.Comply with Elderwood’s business code of conduct, HIPAA, and compliance policies.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.Dining Services Associate QualificationsMinimum 16 years of age; Employment Certificate/Permit required for applicable individualsPrior customer service experience preferredServSafe certification or willingness to obtainPhysical stamina to handle constant activityHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrior food service, hospitality, serving, or restaurant experience desiredThis position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
